Meanwile Museum: "Tower III of the Communist International"

Museum of the Monument to the Third International is a museum of the unrealized project of Vladimir Tatlin. Monument to the Third International, also known as the “Tatlin’s Tower”, was designed in 1919-1920, but was not build because of lack of resources and technologies required for its innovative construction.
The Tatlin’s Tower Museum will be build for the Lower Marsh Community. Its main purpose will be via creative workshop and guided tours to tell the story of the Great Constructivist project to adults and children, living both locally and all over the city.

The concept of the Tower will be reflected in the Museum’s construction. The vertical staircase will unite different floors in the same way the staircase united different segments of the Tower: cube (legislative power), pyramid (executive power), cylinder (media), hemisphere (art).

The Museum is located on Lower Marsh SE1 7AE 114-18. It is a vibrant market street near Waterloo station.
